The story takes place in the magical land of Jhamora which is divided between two cultures – the Nohrin, winged masters of the skies, and the Lockni, the terrestrial tribe who harness the mystical powers of the land.  When Delgo (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), a reckless Lockni teenager, forms a forbidden friendship with the spunky Nohrin Princess Kyla (Jennifer Love Hewitt), hostilities between the two peoples escalate, setting the stage for an exiled empress (Anne Bancroft) to exact her revenge and reclaim her rule.

Falsely imprisoned, Delgo and his best friend, Filo (Chris Kattan), must put aside their differences to join forces with a sworn enemy, Bogardus (Val Kilmer), and travel to the mysterious land of Perran to rescue Princess Kyla.  Here they encounter fanciful creatures and discover more than just a kidnapped princess, they learn the value of different cultures and the importance of working together.

Fly Me to the Moon is now available on DVD and features the voice talents of Kelly Ripa, Nicollette Sheridan, Christopher Lloyd, Tim Curry, Ed Begley, Jr., and the legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

My daughter was ecstatic when she found out we were getting a copy to review, she calls this movie “Bugs in Space” and knew more about it then I did.

The cool thing about this movie is that it comes in both 3-D and 2-D (regular version) so you are not limited to just watching a 3-D movie.  The only negative thing I can say about this DVD is that it only came with 2 pairs of 3-D glasses,  I think it should come with 4, so the whole family can watch together. We worked it out and took turns watching the movie.

We really enjoyed this movie and the animation is wonderful. I can only imagine what this looked like in the theater.

The basic storyline is about a young housefly Nat, who is looking for adventure and hatches a plan to jet into outer space with his two best friends, I.Q. and Scooter. In their homemade space suits, they take a wild ride aboard Apollo 11 all the way to the moon. As their families watch at home, the three flies become the first insects ever to journey into space… but this is no ordinary thrill ride. After a potentially disastrous mechanical problem, these daredevil flies must save the day.

Fly Me to the Moon would make a great gift this Holiday Season for children both young and old.

Frosted Fir smells so fresh and clean, like freshly cut pine (or fir) trees. This is the perfect scent for holidays!

I usually stock up on the holiday hand washes from Bath and Body Works, but after using this I don’t want those anymore (besides they stopped selling my favorite holiday scent, holly jolly mistletoe).

Method hand wash is non-toxic and triclosan-free. It is currently available at Target and retails for $2.99.

This scent is also available in a candle.

Since I love reading to my daughter before bedtime, my favorite book/CD is Dream Songs Night Songs - From Belgium to Brazil.

I found the songs to be very soothing and peaceful…perfect for nighttime.

My daughter enjoyed A Duck in New York City the most with its fun, upbeat music. A great daytime story about a duck and his big dream to be on Broadway.

The Secret Mountain books retail for $22.95 each and include a music CD. All books are hard cover and include beautiful illustrations.

We started out with just one (in the Fresh Scent) for our master bathroom. I have since bought 2 more- 1 for the guest bathroom, and 1 for my office.

The FreshMatic is kind of like an aerosol can spray that you don’t have to spray yourself. This little unit comes with a can of spray (and batteries) that you set to go off every 9, 18, or 36 minutes. Basically you set it and forget it!

There is also a BOOST button that you can press for instant freshness. Each refill contains 2,400 sprays-about 60 days worth, so its lasts a nice long time before you need a refill.

I love how small and portable the unit is. I have placed mine on the back of the toilets in the bathrooms, but it can also be hung on the wall.

The Fresh scent is perfectly light and non-chemical smelling, different than regular Lysol in the can.

If you love keeping your home smelling fresh everyday, you will definitely want to pick one of these up.

What makes these sneakers special is that they have clear panel windows on the sides which allow specially designed socks to show through.
