Bella Sera, Baby Bella Trading Cards Review

October 29, 2008

Bella Sara
is a trading card game that is complimented by the magical online land of North of North.

The Bella Sara family is expanding and is welcoming Baby Bella, the babies of the Bella Sera horses!

Starting November 6th, the website is kicking off a 10-day celebration where kids can qualify for daily prizes, print out birth certificates for their babies, and get special access to codes and more.

My daughter opened 2 packs of Bella Sera baby cards last night and had a great time looking at the ponies. Each card has a special code that can be entered online in the land of North of North. It is free to join online and collect your ponies in a virtual world. My daughter thinks it is especially fun to get to decorate her own cottage for the ponies. Each card also have a symbol displaying how rare the card was…it was neat seeing how many rare ones we had - In our 2 packs we had 3 rare cards!

The card packs retail for $2.99 and contain 7 cards and can be found at most major retailers including Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. These packs make great stocking stuffers! Not only do girls get fun pony cards to collect (and trade), but they get the online pony world to join for free as well.

Kid Kleen Bath Blizzard Review

October 14, 2008

There is nothing more fun to a child than a bathtub full of bubbles! Spin Master has a new line of kids’ bath activity toys called Kid Kleen, that are both unique and fun.

The highlight of the line in my opinion is the Bath Blizzard.

The Bath Blizzard is essentially a bubble maker for the bath tub. Recently we got to try one out for ourselves and when it came, my daughter could not wait to get into the bathtub. That was a nice change of pace, needless to say it was a huge hit with my daughter!

The Bath Blizzard hangs on the handle or spout of your tub and blows out bubbles. A little bottle of bubble bath is included. The machine does run on 4 C batteries however, that are not included. This postponed our bubble fun for just a little bit because I was not prepared.

I will say a downside is that it did not fit on both of our bath tubs. My bath tub in the master bath is more of a garden style tub with a curved spout and I couldn’t get the bubble maker positioned correctly. My box did not include suction cups, and that might of worked well in addition to the hanger.

This product is really unique and I am surprised we haven’t seen something like this sooner. The Bath Blizzard is sure to be a big hit this coming Christmas.

The Kid Kleen Bath Blizzard is suggested for use for children ages 3 and up. Suggested price is $19.99 and is available at all leading toy retailers.

Aquadoodle Draw N’ Doodle Mat Review

My daughter has been wanting an Aquadoodle for ages now so was super excited to hear she was going to get to try out the Aquadoodle Draw N’ Doodle Mat, courtesy of Team Mom and Spin Master.

I love how this toy works right out of the box, no batteries needed, all you need it a little water for the special Aquadoodle pen.

Just fold out the mat, fill up the pen and let your little one go wild! This is also mess free fun. I love not having to worry about getting marker or paint on the floor, no dirty hands or clothes to clean. This is one toy you won’t mind bringing out!

The Aquadoodle mat and pen are completely reusable, the pictures your child draws on the mat will disappear when dried and they can start all over again. The Draw N’ Doodle is also very easy to store, just roll up the mat and place the pen in the little elastic loop.

My daughter loved the Aquadoodle and spent an hour or two tracing her hands and writing her name. It was fun to see her try to draw some of the designs that are illustrated on the side of the mat.

The Aquadoodle Draw N’ Doodle Mat is recommended for ages 2 and up and retails for $24.99 at all leading toy retailers.
