Lysol Neura Air FreshMatic Review

November 20, 2008

I’ve had the Lysol Neuta Air FreshMatic for a few weeks now and I LOVE it!

We started out with just one (in the Fresh Scent) for our master bathroom. I have since bought 2 more- 1 for the guest bathroom, and 1 for my office.

The FreshMatic is kind of like an aerosol can spray that you don’t have to spray yourself. This little unit comes with a can of spray (and batteries) that you set to go off every 9, 18, or 36 minutes. Basically you set it and forget it!

There is also a BOOST button that you can press for instant freshness. Each refill contains 2,400 sprays-about 60 days worth, so its lasts a nice long time before you need a refill.

I love how small and portable the unit is. I have placed mine on the back of the toilets in the bathrooms, but it can also be hung on the wall.

The Fresh scent is perfectly light and non-chemical smelling, different than regular Lysol in the can.

If you love keeping your home smelling fresh everyday, you will definitely want to pick one of these up.

Klean Kanteen Sport Review

November 5, 2008

I recently got to try out the 18oz Klean Kanteen Sports Bottle, thanks to www.MyPreciousKid.com.

The Klean Kanteen is a stainless steel sippy bottle that comes in 12, 18, and 27 oz sized bottles.

Some fact you should know about the Klean Kanteen:

1. Klean Kanteens are BPA (Bisphenol-A) Free

2. Reusable & 100% Recyclable

3. Non-leaching, toxin-free

4. Bottle is dishwasher safe

My daughter tried out the bottle with her juice and said it tasted great! I love how the stainless steel keeps the water, juice, or any liquid you put in it cold. One of my biggest pet peeves is taking a juice box or drink with us and it getting warm by the time we get to our destination. Adding ice to our Klean Kanteen will now eliminate that problem.

I also love how the Kleen Kanteen has a leak proof sippy spout which keeps the contents securely in the bottle. There is also an additional loop cap making it even more secure.

The Klean Kanteen is lightweight despite its appearance (The 18oz size weighs 6oz).

I can definitely see us getting a lot of use out of the Klean Kanteen. With all the info out on the negative effects of bottles that contain BPA, I like knowing that my daughter is getting a safe alternative.

You can buy the Klean Kanteen in various sizes and colors at http://www.mypreciouskid.com/klean-kanteen.html

Dripstik Review

October 10, 2008

I found out about Dripstiks a year or two ago while watching Mecinna Price, the inventor of the Dripstik, on the Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. Anytime I see a mom inventor or entrepreneur on TV it gets my attention.

It wasn’t until recently that I actually got my hands on one of these babies, and I must say, it is one of the most practical, easy to use, and FUN products we have tried!

The Dripstik is a true multi-tasker, not only does it save messes by collecting the sticky ice cream drippings, but it also gives your child a holder to put the ice cream treat down if needed.

The coolest thing about the Dripstik is that one side is built to hold an ice cream cone, and the other side holds any popsicle stick. It basically has all your frozen treats covered, even ice pops which I found fit in the cone side.

My daughter LOVES using the Dripstik, and actually knows now that she cannot have an ice cream or popsicle treat without it.  We have not had a single mess since we started using it, and that in itself pays for the Dripstik!

Dripstiks cost $5.99 for a single, and $7.99 for a 2 pack on www.Dripstik.com. They are lightweight, dishwasher safe, and come in 6 fun colors!
