Bella Sera, Baby Bella Trading Cards Review

October 29, 2008

Bella Sara
is a trading card game that is complimented by the magical online land of North of North.

The Bella Sara family is expanding and is welcoming Baby Bella, the babies of the Bella Sera horses!

Starting November 6th, the website is kicking off a 10-day celebration where kids can qualify for daily prizes, print out birth certificates for their babies, and get special access to codes and more.

My daughter opened 2 packs of Bella Sera baby cards last night and had a great time looking at the ponies. Each card has a special code that can be entered online in the land of North of North. It is free to join online and collect your ponies in a virtual world. My daughter thinks it is especially fun to get to decorate her own cottage for the ponies. Each card also have a symbol displaying how rare the card was…it was neat seeing how many rare ones we had - In our 2 packs we had 3 rare cards!

The card packs retail for $2.99 and contain 7 cards and can be found at most major retailers including Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. These packs make great stocking stuffers! Not only do girls get fun pony cards to collect (and trade), but they get the online pony world to join for free as well.

Max Factor ColorGenius Mineral Blush Review

October 8, 2008

I have to admit, before I became a mom I was a real makeup addict. Now that I work from home, and have a young daughter running around, makeup has not been on the top of my priority list.

I was very excited however when I found out I was going to try some new Max Factor makeup products from BzzAgent.

My goodies included:

ColorGenius Mineral Blush in Peaches (and brush)

Volume Couture Mascara

Lipfinity Lipstick in Burnished

First of all, I noted that this was the PERFECT makeup assortment for a MOM. The colors were neutral, and really all I have time to put on anyway is a little blush, mascara, and lipstick.

My favorite product is the ColorGenius Blush in Peaches. This stuff rocks!

I am pretty fair and the peachy-ness of this powder makes me look normal, like I actually have color to my face. The 3 colors blend together to make the perfect- not to light, not to dark blend of color. I am sure anyone with any skin tone could wear this.

I found the Volume Couture Mascara to be great as well. The big fluffy brush and rich black color made my tiny lashes stand out. Thumbs Up.

Finally I tried the Lipfinity Lipstick in Burnished. I am actually not one to wear lipstick very often, I am more of a lipgloss girl. I did enjoy the neutral tone of this lipstick and found it can be applied more sheer, or heavier if needed. The real winner in the Lipfinity set it the clear gloss sealer that is applied over the lipstick.

This is about the most moisturizing gloss I have ever tried and they need to mass produce this stuff and sell it on its own. I have used almost the whole tube of the clear gloss in only a matter of a week or two.

Overall I am very pleased with the Max Factor products and I am falling in love with makeup all over again.
